Its me again. Its been a bit since I've posted anything. I've pretty much caught you all up with the short version of our story. If I repeat myself I apologize its late and I should be going to bed but I can't fall asleep so hence the blog post.
Well I figure seeing as its thanksgiving tomorrow it would be appropriate to share what I'm thankful for. I'm thankful for this gospel and to be sealed to the most amazing man! I'm thankful for my parents and all they've taught me and for all of my leaders, family, friends and others who have influenced me to make me who I am today. I'm thankful for the jobs Trevor and I have and the education were able to pursue. I could go on and on! I have so much to be grateful for. Thanks to all of you who actually read this blog and suffer through it!
Ok so what has happened in the past few weeks? I feel like a lot has happened! Trevor's been in Guatemala on his humanitarian trip. I've been hanging out with friends and family to pass the time. He gets home in a couple days! Yay! I've only been able to email and facebook chat (sorry to those who saw his all caps shout out to get me on FB the other day!) but hes doing really great. He's had tons of really great experiences and they had almost double the appointments they expected! So there were a couple days he was assisting close to 15+ plus hours!
I was just released from co teaching the 17 year old Sunday school class with Trevor. He got a new teacher and now I'm the second councilor in young womens now! I've learned a lot being able to teach and I'll really miss being able to be with Trevor during Sunday school BUT I love my little beehives! I LOVE working with the youth, they truly amaze me with their strength and knowledge of this gospel. Seriously, they're just amazing. Finals are coming up in a couple weeks so things have been pretty crazy with sending Trevor off, the holidays and getting ready for finals! Oh ya and partying while Trevor's been gone ;)
What else... I know there is more but again its late and I'm tired so I can't think... this might be a shorter post than I thought!
We did thanksgiving last Sunday with Trevor's family. It was not your typical thanksgiving but super fun! We all picked our favorite meal and had a yummy assortment of delicious foods! Way fun :) Tomorrow I'm going with my parents to my dads family. Were doing thanksgiving at my grandparents house and then going to see the new James Bond movie!
Well folks I think that's all for now. Until next time, ttfn!

And so it begins!
Alright well now that you know the before part here goes the last 8 almost 9 months of our exciting lives. And by exciting I mean crazy and hectic!
Our first fun adventure was only a couple months after we had been married. Marriage was as perfect and amazing as we thought it would be and then we ran into our first road block. We were on our way home from a fun trip canyoneering trip. As we were coming the back way through Panguitch Trevor's alternator decided to go on the fritz. We had no cell service and it was getting late. We were able to coast down hill for a mile or so and with spotty service our prayers were answered and we were able to call for help! It was an unfortunate way to end a fun trip but now its fun to look back and laugh at. There were lots of friendly people stopping to see if we needed help. Trevor had a few card games we played to kill time and we got a nice nap in while we waited for his parents to come rescue us.
We have had lots of fun issues with his car since then... enough that I was about ready to crash it or "accidentally" leave the keys in the car for someone to steal it and take it off our hands! Haha but hopefully we've fixed all the issues and we can drive it in the ground. I've actually grown quite fond of Trevor's Pathfinder. We've pretty much taken it on every road trip we've been on and Trevor has all of his stickers on the back of his window from all the places he's been.
Moving on... Trevor did really well in organic chemistry last semester Woot woot! He had a pretty good winter semester despite throwing a wife and moving into the mix of things! He currently is having a ton of fun doing his mammalogy project and catching different animal species up rock canyon in Provo. He's still working at the MTC and gets paid to play basketball and sports with the missionaries all day. Yes, he has such a hard job I know! It was nice to have him work full time in the summer and make lots of extra mula to help pay for school.
I'm still working at Clyde Companies. I'm a credit assistant for Sunroc Corporation. I like my job and the people I work with. I work full time so it makes it challenging to balance school and work. Schools been going okay so far. Its hard to get back in the swing of things after being off for almost 2 years but it feels good to be getting some classes out of the way. I'll have my associates hopefully by the summer and Trev will have his Bachelors about the same time.
Life is good and were excited for the holiday season! Unfortunately we wont be spending our first Thanksgiving together as a married couple. Trevor will be off in Guatemala on his humanitarian for a week and a half. He'll be assisting the dentists that are helping the young men & women with their papers so they can go on missions. It's a really good opportunity for Trevor and while I'm super excited for him 10 days is a long time for newlyweds! Haha
Well that's about it for us. We've had lots of other fun mishaps but its brought us closer together as a couple and made our marriage stronger. That's all anyone can ask for :)

The beginning
Alright so were going to see how this goes... It seems like everyone has a blog now a days so why not?! We'll see how much I actually post... my goal is at least once a month but we will see!
Not sure where to start but I guess the best place is to always start at the beginning so here it goes!...
I had been living at Crestwood for 8 months and was looking at moving back home to save for a mission. I had printed my papers but never officially started them. I had this nagging feeling I shouldn't go and after talking with bishop decided against it. I was pretty bummed and didn't know why I had a bad feeling but I soon found out the reason. One fine Sunday I knew I was being released from my current calling as relief society secretary and I thought it was odd bishop was the one who had to release me so I should have seen it coming... released as secretary and called as Pres... Holy moly! So no more moving I was staying! Trevor got called as executive secretary a few weeks after. We didn't really know one another but we got to know each other pretty quick. Being in meetings for 3 hours before church each Sunday and then hanging around bishops office after church you get to know people pretty quick.
My first impression, as much as I hate to admit it, was kind of shallow. I thought he was really cute but to short! I was so focused on going on a mission so I took my calling as my new mission and only wanted to focus on my girls. I was done dating I was sick of men! The more we talked and the more I heard him share his thoughts and testimony in meetings the more I started liking him. The more I started liking him the more I started thinking... hmmm... I could give up my heels for this guy (which is huge I might add I LOVED my heels!).
We started hanging out and Trevor will tell the story different but I know I'm right cuz were always right, right girls?! We went running a few times, played guitar, watched the office and saw each other fairly frequently for a couple of weeks. We had pretty much hung out everyday. I couldn't take it anymore so I called him out on it one afternoon which happened to be the same day he was planning on calling me and asking me on a date. Good thing I had left my Saturday open in case he asked me out!
Well its history from there. We went on our first date and it didn't take long for both of us to fall in L-O-V-E! We got engaged on Thanksgiving in Zions and were married in the Draper temple February 3, 2012.
So that's our story! Now that I caught you up on the before part I'll catch you up on the last 8 months of our lives in the next blog!
