He made it through the first year!

Well it didn't take me a full year to post this time, but there hasn't been a lot going on until the last month or two. We're kind of boring old married people already!
As you can tell by the title Trevor survived his first year of dental school! He's on break right now for a couple of weeks. Soon he'll start an MBA program on top of dental school. It's still through Roseman, so they'll be doing classes when he's on breaks. It's super convenient, but that means he won't get to enjoy much of his summer and winter breaks. It will all pay off when he graduates with a D.M.D. and MBA. I can easily say that because I'm not he one who has to sacrifice my summer! He also ran for the ASDA (American Student Dental Association) VP and won! He was the ASDA rep for his class this past year. He was able to go to several dental conferences and various events throughout the year. He has really enjoyed being involved with the association.
I recently started a new job. I wasn't looking for one, but one of our customer's approached me and it just worked out really well. I commute from Salt Lake to Lehi everyday which was about the only down fall. I really liked working less than 10 minutes from home. At least I'm not commuting the opposite direction, so it could be worse! I work for Cornerstone Concrete now. It's been really great and have enjoyed it so far!
Trevor and I don't have any big plans for the summer. We don't have time for much with him being in school all summer. My little brother gets home from his mission on Tuesday!!! So we'll be hanging with my family since my older brother is visiting from D.C. as well. We'll squeeze in some family time, and short weekend trips down to Zion when we can.

Just a few things from the past year...

I had some fun this Halloween. My mom and I went to the Witches festival in Gardner Village for the first time. We had a blast, and will definitely be going again this year! My boss and I dressed up. Her name is Whitney as well. Things tend to get a little confusing when we sit by each other, and work in the same department. We were always called "Thing 1 and Thing 2" so we embraced it.
Witches festival with my mom. I made my first tutu!

We like to have a little fun at work...

Trevor went snowboarding for his first time this winter. I haven't been since High School. Not that I was that great to begin with, but he totally schooled me.

We added to our family this April. Karissa, Trevor's sister, got married! Welcome to the family Chase! Presenting "The Adam's Family" (pun intended).
The sun was in Taylor's eyes, so he covered them. Naturally.

We headed down to Arches for a quick weekend trip. It was my first time ever going. We met Trevor's cousin and his wife there. They even brought their little girl on a slot canyon with us. She was a trooper and loved it!

These cuties all had Birthdays a few months ago! Paige & Devin are 2 and Taylor is 4. We don't have kids yet, so I'll just talk about how cute our niece and nephew are! We've had them all over for sleepover's at different times. They are just the funnest little people. We sure do love spending time with them!
I'm pretty sure this is the cutest picture I've ever seen!

Holding hands... for a split second... at Karissa & Chase's wedding. Aren't they all adorable in their little outfits!

I think that pretty much sums up our last year. We've loved living in our cute little house. Our ward is great and life is good!
